Race 5 Number 12 – Destination Tucson - Connections advised would be ridden forward; began awkwardly and shortly after the start had to be checked and settled at the rear. Near the 100m had to be steadied when another runner shifted out before being straightened by its rider. Rider reported that after being inconvenienced at the start, settled further back than anticipated and as the mare is one-paced, was not suited. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. (Yarra Valley 29/12/16)
