International Stewards Extracts For Horses Racing At Gosford (Tues)

Race 7 Number 5 – COOL AND NEAT - Performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the gelding was displaying an irregular heart rhythm and an endoscopic examination conducted on the horse also showed a substantial amount of blood in its trachea. COOL AND NEAT was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables and it was noted the gelding was lame in its right hind leg. As previously advised, COOL AND NEAT will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again. Vet clearance including ECG has been received and the gelding has since trialled at Randwick on 13/7/18 and 30/7/18. (Sha Tin 9/7/17).
