Injured jockey - Brandon Griffiths (Hawkesbury trials)

Prior to Heat 16 at Hawkesbury on Tuesday 15 June, jockey Brandon Griffiths was dislodged when his mount reared at the barriers.

Brandon was trodden on by his mount and is complaining of pain to his ribs. He will be transported to hospital, likely Nepean.

(Update 4pm): Brandon has two fractured ribs. He will stay in hospital overnight for observation.

(Update 11am Wednesday): Brandon Griffiths remains admitted at Hospital with 3 fractured ribs. He may require surgery and is consulting with Dr Duckworth.
