Gathering For Mr Darren Jones At Glen Innes - Sunday (23rd April)

The Glen Innes and district racing fraternity will have the opportunity to celebrate the life of jockey Mr Darren Jones this Sunday (23rd April) at Glen Innes Racecourse.

Darren was tragically killed in a race fall at the Warialda Cup meeting on Saturday 8th April. Darren was originally from Glen Innes and his parents and sister still reside in the town.

Glen Innes Jockey Club has arranged for a celebration of Darren’s life at the racecourse this Sunday commencing at 11am to enable people from his home town, and the wider racing community from Inverell, Deepwater and surrounds to pay their respects.
