Family Fun At Hawkesbury Races This Sunday

Long Weekend racing returns to Hawkesbury Race Club this Sunday with its annual Family Fun Day.

The event supports a number of charities, including the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.

Entry is by gold donation but children, pensioners, TAB Rewards members and members of Blacktown Workers and Richmond Club will be admitted free of charge.

"There is so much happening with live music, on course raffles, free pony rides and kids attractions as well as $2000 in cash and prizes on offer to patrons," HRC's Chief Executive, Greg Rudolph said.

"The theme of the day is family fun and there is a $5 BBQ drink and burger deal and great XXXX Gold bar prizes to be won.

"The Cure Brain Cancer Foundation is important to the club and we are also raising money through a luncheon hosted by Windsor Rotary for Children’s Cancer Institute, Children’s Medical Research Institute, as well as Windsor High School P&C and Windsor Rotary Youth Foundation Trust.

"The club prides itself on its fundraising activities and with a fine day and a good track predicted, we’re set for a great day's racing.”
