Gosford Race Club, operating from The Entertainment Grounds (West Gosford), is the Central Coast pre-eminent thoroughbred horse racing, functions and events centre.

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our senior management team. The role is broadly responsible for providing a professional accounting service to the Club and any associated businesses, ensuring the integrity of financial data is maintained in accordance with Accounting Standards and Racing and Gaming Industry Policies.

The role will analyse all financial data and provide advice and recommendations to the CEO and Board relating to the pricing and profitability of all aspects of the Clubs business as well as be responsible for reporting to all relevant statutory bodies, Racing NSW and Tabcorp as required.

The role will cover all aspects of the accounting function combining both Financial and Management accounting. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in FBT, Payroll, PAYG and BAS reporting as well as sound experience in budgeting and forecasting. No prior knowledge of reporting to racing industry bodies is required.
