Cleanaway Joins Long-Term ATC Partnership

Australian Turf Club is delighted to announce it has signed a multi-year partnership with Cleanaway, the nation’s largest waste management service provider.

This new agreement will support Sydney racing and its major racedays along with Australian Turf Club’s daily operations across its five venues.

The partnership includes race naming rights at major racedays in spring including TAB Epsom Day and Cup Day at Royal Randwick.

Cleanaway will also have race naming rights on Schweppes All Aged Stakes Day at Royal Randwick in the autumn as well as other racedays throughout the year.

A key component of the new partnership was to invest in a range of new technologies and programs to improve waste services and environmental sustainability practices at Sydney’s four metropolitan racecourses and Rosehill Bowling Club.

Australian Turf Club Executive General Manager Commercial, Corina Black, said the new partnership aligned the values of the Club with Australia’s leading waste management service.

“We are thrilled to bring a new partner to Sydney racing for our Carnivals and other racedays and non-raceday events throughout the year,” Ms Black said.

“This partnership will also further the Australian Turf Club’s environmental sustainability well into the future.”

Cleanaway General Manager, Solid Waste Services NSW/ACT, David Clancy said, “It’s exciting to be working with one of Sydney’s most well-known and well-loved events brands to deliver total waste management services.

"Australian Turf Club has a great attitude to sustainability and this partnership will enable real innovation across the service profile as we work together to make a sustainable future possible.”
