Change Of Suspension Dates For Jockey Keagan Latham
Stewards acceded to a request from Jockey Keagan Latham to alter the dates of the suspension he incurred at Newcastle on Saturday 11 February 2023, due to him having prior confirmed rides in Tasmania on Sunday 19 February.
Jockey Latham’s licence to ride in races in now suspended for a period to commence on Monday 20 February 2023 and to expire on Sunday 26 February 2023 on which day he may ride.
Stewards acceded to this request to allow Jockey Latham to commence his suspension on Monday 20th as it does not impact on the number of meetings he was suspended for.
Jockey Latham has lodged an appeal in relation to the penalty imposed, which will be heard on Monday 20 February 2023.
