Breakfast With The Stars Inquiry - Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott

Racing NSW Stewards this morning commenced an investigation relative to the running of the Breakfast With The Stars at Royal Randwick subsequent to receiving advice that horses trained by Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott, nominated to complete trackwork on the Randwick course proper, had been substituted for horses not nominated or authorised to do so.

The investigation has established that English, Serena Bay and Debonairly did not work as programmed and were substituted by other horses, carrying the same colours as the nominated horses, however, Global Glamour did work in accordance with the schedule.

Stewards have been advised the following Waterhouse/Bott horses worked on the course proper this morning:-

1. Global Glamour (as nominated), followed by

2. Fabrizio (Branded AH – 1/1) – White, Red Fleur De Lys, followed by

3. Sort After (Brands |N| - 31/2) – Black, Green Sash, Red Sleeves & Stampede (Branded C – 130/2 ) – Silver, Black Diamond Band and Sleeves

Racing NSW Stewards have directed Mrs Waterhouse and Mr Bott attend a Stewards inquiry at a date and time to be fixed, in respect to the horses working on the course proper when not nominated or authorised by the Australian Turf Club to do so and working in the colours of the horses that they substituted.
