Big Day Planned For Tuncurry-Forster Cup Day (Friday 8th Sept)
Tuncurry-Forster Jockey Club is already receiving bookings galore for its TAB gold cup race meeting on Friday 8th September.
The $30,000 XXXX Gold Tuncurry-Forster Gold Cup will be run over 2100m on an eight-race program boasting a further seven races each carrying $20,000 in prizemoney.
"With $170,000 in prizemoney up for grabs it is the most we have ever offered," said TFJC's president, Garry McQuillan. "Pavilion and gazebo bookings are already streaming in so I've little doubt we will attract a sizeable crowd.
"We'll also have a Fashions on the Field contest and that always draws a stack of entries."
