Appeal Panel Decision - Licensed Trainer Garry Lunn

The Appeal Panel has determined an appeal by licensed trainer Mr Garry Lunn arising from an attempted stable audit on 15 October 2025.

Date of Hearing: 9 December 2025
Date of Reasons: 6 January 2026

The Panel found Mr Lunn guilty of:

• AR228(c) - Conduct detrimental to the interests of racing
• AR232(c)(ii) - Failure to observe processes and directions of PRAs or Stewards

The appeal was allowed in part. The original nine-month period of disqualification was set aside and replaced with a two-month disqualification, imposed in light of special circumstances, with both charges to be served concurrently.

The commencement of the penalty was deferred for seven days and will take effect from Tuesday, 13 January 2026.
