Andrew Schier Awarded Life Membership (Gilgandra)
The committee and members would like to congratulate Mr Andrew B. Schier who has been awarded Life Membership to Gilgandra Jockey Club.
Andrew has been Volunteer President of Gilgandra Jockey Club since 1997 and Volunteer committeeman since 1993. During this time, he has guided, cared for promoted and worked tirelessly for Gilgandra Jockey Club.
Andrew became Gilgandra Jockey Club’s Delegate to the Western Racing Association in 2005, Vice President in 2009 then becoming President in 2014 and still maintaining that position. Thus, proving his commitment to Country Racing in the West.
The committee and members acknowledges the continuing efforts of Andrew to promote and ensure the success of Gilgandra Jockey Club and racing in the West.
