All On Target For She Will Reign

By Brad Gray

She Will Reign looks in exceptional order as she embarks upon her campaign towards The Everest at Royal Randwick on October 14.

Darby Racing recently published an update of the Golden Slipper winner suggesting that the daughter of Manhattan Rain has continued to develop.

“She looks outstanding and I can certainly see what Gary (Portelli) has been banging on about,” Scott Darby said in the video.

“She raced around the 450kg last time, came in at 513kg and she currently weights 504kg so you’d imagine that she is going to race around that 490kg mark by the time she tightens right up.

“She is an absolute darling and everything is spot on with her.”

It was announced on Tuesday that light-weight rider Craig Williams has been booked to ride She Will Reign for the Moir Stakes at Moonee Valley when the filly resumes with Ben Melham to reunite with her for The Everest.

She Will Reign will represent slot holder Yulong Investments in the $10 million sprint feature.
