The Rising Star Series will conclude with Heat 16 at Hawkesbury on Thursday which will open the program at 1:20pm (EDST).

The Series will be decided between Mollie Fitzgerald (22 points) and Siena Grima (17 points), who have both secured rides in the final round.

With five points separating them, Grima will need to win the final heat to boost her chances of a series victory which will also depend on where Fitzgerald finishes.

Points are awarded as follows 1st=7 points, 2nd=5 points, 3rd=3 points, 4th-2 points. All other runners receive 1 point each, including scratchings.

First run in 2000, this will conclude the 26th running of the annual Rising Star Series, which is opened to NSW and ACT indentured apprentices who are enrolled at Racing NSW Apprentice Schools.
