Outcome Of Licensed Jockey Corey Brown's Appeal

Corey Brown
Licensed jockey Corey Brown lodged an Appeal against conviction and penalty after being found guilty by Racing NSW Stewards under AR131(b) after his ride on I’m So Sweet in Race 3 (Star turn @ Vinery Handicap, 1400m) at Warwick Farm Racecourse on Wednesday, 27 March 2019.

Following a Stewards inquiry, Mr Brown was fined $200. This Appeal was heard on Thursday, 4 April 2019 and commenced at 9am.

The Appeal Panel gave the following orders:

1. Appeal allowed
2. Finding of breach of AR131(b) set aside
3. Penalty of $200 fine set aside
4. Appeal deposit to be refunded
