Licensed Jockey Glen Boss - Appeal Concluded

Licensed jockey Glen Boss lodged an appeal against penalty after being found guilty by Racing NSW Stewards under AR131(a), after his ride on Larimer Street in Race 2 (Inglis Millennium 2yos, 1100m) at Warwick Farm Racecourse on Wednesday, 12 February 2020.

Following a Stewards inquiry, Glen Boss was suspended for a period to commence Sunday, 16 February and to expire on Sunday, 23 February 2020.

This Appeal was heard on Monday, 17 February 2020 and the Panel made the following orders:

1. Finding of breach of AR 131(a) confirmed,
2. Appeal against severity of penalty allowed.
3. In lieu of a penalty of a three-meeting suspension, a two-meeting suspension is imposed. Such penalty commenced on Sunday 16 February, and expires on Saturday 22 February 2020, on which day the appellant may ride,
4. Appeal deposit refunded.
