Licensed jockey Andrew Gibbons has lodged an appeal against penalty after being found guilty by Racing NSW Stewards under AR131(a) after his ride on Chewbacca in Race 8 (SERA Country Championships Qualifier, 1400m) at Goulburn Race Club on Saturday, 2 March 2019.
Following a Stewards inquiry, Mr Gibbons was suspended for a period commencing Monday, 11 March and to expire on Tuesday, 19 March 2019 on which day he may ride. The appeal date is yet to be set.
