Injured Rider Update - Tom Sherry (Newcastle, Tues)
Apprentice jockey Tom Sherry was dislodged from his mount (Invincible Fire) near the 100 metres in Race 2 at Newcastle on Tuesday (30th March).
Tom has a suspected broken collarbone and will be transported to John Hunter Hospital.
[Update at 6pm Tuesday]: Tom has a fractured left clavicle and will see Dr Duckworth tomorrow, requiring surgery.
