Injured Rider Update - Kerrin McEvoy (Rosehill, Saturday)

Jockey Kerrin McEvoy was dislodged from his mount (Tintookie) when it fell rounding the home turn in Race 10 at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday.

Kerrin was admitted to hospital overnight with a painful neck. He is awaiting the results of scans and is being seen by a spine specialist.

[Update at 1:50pm on Monday 25th March]: Kerrin has a minimally displaced spinal fracture which is stable and will be treated in a brace. Kerrin will not be riding for approximately 6 to 8 weeks.
