Injured Rider Update - Jean Van Overmeire (Rosehill Trials, Tues)

Please note apprentice Jean Van Overmeire was dislodged after his mount, Chillichoc, knuckled on jumping out of the barriers in heat 11 of Tuesday's Rosehill trials.

Jean has been attended to by ambulance officers and has pain to his right wrist and ribs. He will be transported to hospital, most likely Westmead.

Update at 5pm on Tuesday 17th December: Racing NSW's Dr. Duckworth reported Jean has a fractured scapula and will be having a check-up on Wednesday. Jean has a soft tissue injury to his wrist as well and Dr Duckworth will reassess all these injuries tomorrow.
