Injured Rider Update - Jean Van Overmeire (Hawkesbury, Thurs)

Jockeys Tommy Berry and Jean Van Overmeire were dislodged from their mounts after passing the winning post following the running of race 5 at Hawkesbury on Thursday. Tommy is OK and has been cleared of any injury, however, Jean sustained an injury to his right shoulder and will be transported to hospital for further observation.

[Update at 9am on Friday, 25th September 2020]: Jean has sustained a fractured shoulder and some fractured ribs and was discharged from hospital last night.
