Injured Rider Update - Jean Van Overmeire (Gosford, Thurs)
Jockey Jean Van Overmeire was dislodged when his mount (Skyray) became fractious and reared in the starting gates prior to Race 6 at Gosford today.
Jean was conscious and has pain in his ribs. He will monitor his condition and see his doctor should the pain persist.
He has no further riding engagements today and his mount was a late scratching.
