Injured Rider Update - Andrew Adkins (Rosehill Trials, Mon)
Jockey Andrew Adkins was involved in an incident at Rosehill barrier trials this morning after his mount broke through the starting gates. Andrew has sustained an injury to his right wrist and was taken to hospital for further examination.
[Update at 2:30pm on Monday 16th March]: Racing NSW's Dr Duckworth reports that Andrew has an undisplaced wrist fracture that can be treated in a plaster. Andrew will be discharged from hospital today and will see Dr Duckworth for a check-up on Tuesday.
