Injured Rider Update - Alena Skerritt (Gosford, Weds)
Jockey Alena Skerritt was injured after her mount reared over on top of her while she was walking her horse off the Gosford track this morning (Wednesday 9th September). Alena has suffered a concussion and said she has pain across her body. She will be taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for further observation.
[Update at 9am on Thursday 10th September]: Alena has been discharged from hospital. She has an ankle injury and general bruising.
