Injured Jockey Update - Jean Van Overmeire (Warwick Farm, Weds)

Jockey Jean Van Overmeire was admitted to Liverpool Hospital on Wednesday morning after being kicked in the leg by a horse during trackwork at Warwick Farm and will not be riding today.

Jean is otherwise OK and is currently waiting on the results of his scans. Racing NSW's Dr. Duckworth will be following up with Jean.

[Update at 1:40pm on Wednesday 29th May]: Dr. Duckworth reports that Jean had x-rays of his leg that showed no break. He is in a moon boot and will be seeing a specialist in the next few days.
