Injured Jockey Chris O'Brien (Gosford Trackwork)

Jockey Chris O’Brien was galloping a horse on the course proper at Gosford this morning [30th January] when his horse shifted abruptly after passing the winning post.

Chris was dislodged and landed awkwardly. He was conscious and was complaining of soreness to his left leg and also sustained abrasions to his right elbow.

Chris didn’t go to hospital but will seek medical advice today from his G.P. - he won’t be riding at Gosford races today.
