Dylan Gibbons [pictured left] has celebrated his first Rising Star Series victory for the season after taking out Heat 7 at Warwick Farm on Wednesday (7th December).

Gibbons piloted Duke Of Buckingham ($2.90) for trainer David Pfieffer to take the win with Tyler Schiller (Taraashoq-$2.50 favourite) and Julia Presits (The Maxinator-$11) placing 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

Gibbons, with a total of 11 points, has climbed to 4th position on the Rising Star Series ladder.

Shayleigh Ingelse and Jasper Franklin boast 16 points apiece in the Series and lead from Georgina McDonell (12 points). Orange will host Heat 8 on Monday 12th December.
