Dylan Gibbons Lands Rising Star Heat On Kensington Track

Dylan Gibbons [pictured left] celebrated his first Rising Star victory for the season after winning Heat 13 at the Kensington Track on Wednesday.

Gibbons saluted with Bedford Square after a well-timed ride for trainer Matthew Smith.

Reece Jones, riding Bella Violet, was the runner up with Jackson Seale (Twice On Sunday) holding on for third.

Jackson Searle is the new Series leader with 22 points, overtaking Bailey Wheeler (21).

Dylan Gibbons, the 2021 Series runner-up behind Mikayla Weir, has climbed to equal third position on the points ladder, sharing 17 points with Reece Jones and Casey Waddell.

Hawkesbury (Feb 8th) will host the next heat, with the two final heats to follow at Wyong (Feb 15th) and Goulburn (Feb 17th).
