Apprentice Jess Philpot To Resume Riding This Week

Canberra apprentice jockey Jess Philpot is set to resume race riding this week with mounts at Wagga on Friday and Queanbeyan on Saturday.

Philpot, 23, who is in indentured to Keith Dryden and Scott Collings, can still claim 3kg and has ridden 19 winners.

Jess has been out of action since suffering a leg injury in June of last year and has been back riding trackwork, jump outs and trials in recent times. She can be booked for rides through Scott Collings on 0419 483 511.
