Amy McLucas Jumps To The Lead In Rising Star Series

Goulburn-based apprentice Amy McLucas

Amy McLucas is leading the Rising Star Series point score after winning the first heat of the 2021/22 Series at Gundagai on Friday 12th November.

McLucas paired with London Gal ($2.80 favourite) to clinch victory in the opening heat, defeating Madison Waters (Romero, $4.60) and Nyssa Burrells (Farage, $16).

Heat 2 of the Series will be run at Tamworth on Tuesday 30th November.

The current Series comprises of 16 heats, culminating at Goulburn on 17th February 2022.

At the conclusion of all scheduled Series Heats, the rider who has accumulated the most points will be declared the Rising Star Series Champion.
