Position Vacant: Executive Assistant To GM Integrity - Chairman Of Stewards

Racing NSW is the peak body for Thoroughbred horse racing throughout NSW. Its responsibilities include commercial, regulatory and integrity leadership of the industry.

Applications are now invited for the position of Executive Assistant to the General Manager Integrity/Chairman of Stewards.

The Executive Assistant is responsible for enhancing the Integrity Department's overall effectiveness by providing business, administration, information and communications management and support to the General Manager of Integrity, which includes database entry of swab samples, preparation of reports and briefs and directing telephone inquiries through the Integrity Department.

Based at our offices located in the Sydney CBD the successful applicant will have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective relationships across all levels;
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office package;
  • Organised and methodical skills with great attention to detail, accuracy and ability to anticipate needs;
  • Knowledge and an interest in the thoroughbred racing industry;
  • Ability to operate with absolute discretion and confidentiality;

Due to the inherent nature of the role, applicants will be required to undertake a probity check.
