Position Vacant: Administrative Officer – Integrity Department (Closes Today)

Racing NSW is the peak body for thoroughbred horse racing throughout NSW. Its responsibilities include commercial, regulatory and integrity leadership of the industry. An excellent opportunity has now arisen to obtain a position working with the Racing NSW Stewards Panel based at the Racing NSW head office in the Sydney CBD.

The successful applicant must display highly proficient computer and administrative skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality, as the position involves reporting and collating of documentation for the Racing NSW Stewards panel.

In addition, the position requires a high level of attention to detail including the input of data, preparing of reports and race meeting information for both internal and external media release, maintaining and preparing various Stewards technologies/equipment for raceday use and assisting the Stewards panel throughout NSW.

Previous experience in an administrative role in racing is desirable as is knowledge of the rules of racing.

If you are decisive, proactive, self-motivated and well-presented and have the following attributes, RNSW welcomes your application:

  • knowledge and an interest in thoroughbred horse racing
  • excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written communication
  • the ability to work well under pressure
  • proven keyboard skills and demonstrated knowledge in Word and Excel (min 50 wpm)
  • the ability to work well both independently and part of a team
