Australian Turf Club operates Sydney's four racecourses; Royal Randwick, Warwick Farm, Rosehill Gardens and Canterbury Park. We provide world-class Thoroughbred racing all year round with Autumn and Spring Carnivals being our pinnacle showcase times for fashion, social and racing. When we aren't racing we are a renowned award-winning culinary, events and entertainment venue.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Based at Royal Randwick, the Racing Services Manager is responsible for managing, maintaining and coordinating the Racing Services for the four (4) ATC racecourses.

You will coordinate pre-race nominations and acceptances along with post-race activities including race results, prizemoney reconciliation and disseminating race day and barrier trial information. The role also includes a number of areas of responsibility involving race day schedules, processes and systems.

Reporting to the General Manager Racing, Wagering & International, there is a variety of exciting challenges with the responsibility of working with key stakeholders including owners, trainers, jockeys and Racing NSW to ensure that customers and industry participants receive excellent customer service.

In a fast-paced environment, this niche opportunity will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to build strong internal and external relationships whilst growing their career within the dynamic Racing Industry.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate for the role will display the following skills & experience:

  • Experience in thoroughbred racing
  • Sound knowledge of the thoroughbred racing industry including racing operations and the rules of racing.
  • Strong administrative and literacy skills;
  • Written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure, achieve deadlines, work in a team environment and respond to on-the job coaching and training;
  • A high degree of personal integrity and credibility is required
