Trevor Sutherland Triumphs In SDRA Winter Series
Wagga trainer Trevor Sutherland has captured the SDRA Winter Series for the second year in succession .
Sutherland accumulated 35 points over the five legs of the series to win the $2500 prize courtesy of the Southern District Racing Association.
Fellow Wagga trainer Wayne Carroll claimed the inaugural title in 2016, while Sutherland reigned last year.
Gundagai’s David Blundell and Corowa trainer Geoff Duryea filled the placings.
Corowa, Narrandera, Gundagai, Wagga and Albury were the clubs which conducted the feature races.
