ROYAL RANDWICK (Saturday 19th August)
Race 2, No.7 - MISS KIRRIBILLI: Trainer Tim Donnelly reported the mare has undergone surgery to remove bone chips from both its near fore fetlock and near knee since its last race start (26 November 2022). The horse has since trialled on two occasions (Albury 19/7/23 and Gundagai 8/8/23).
Race 8, No.5 - FRANCESCO GUARDI: The Chris Waller stable reported the gelding has undergone arthroscopic surgery on its near fore fetlock since its last race start (22nd October 2022). The horse has since trialled on two occasions (Warwick Farm 24/7/23 and 4/8/23).

NEWCASTLE (Saturday 19th August)
Race 2, No.2 - LAMELO: The Benjamin Smith stable reported the gelding has undergone throat surgery since its last start (8th December 2022). The horse has trialled on one occasion since at Warwick Farm on 4th August 2023.
Race 6, No.2 - LOVING CILLA: The Gregory Hickman stable reported that the mare has undergone a tie-back surgery since her last start (24th December 2022). The horse has since trialled on two occasions (Warwick Farm 24/7/23 and 4/8/23).

SCONE (Monday 21st August)
Race 3, No.2 - IMRAN: The Sam Kavanagh-trained 4yo was found to have sustained bilateral tibial stress fractures following its last race start at Kembla Grange on 15th September 2022. The horse has since passed Racing NSW's Major Orthopaedic Protocols and trialled twice at Wyong (10th July 2023) and Gosford (26th July 2023.)
