Race Amendments - Tweed Coast Classic (Murwillumbah December)

Please be advised of the following race amendments surrounding the Tweed Coast Classic Heats and Final that the Tweed River Jockey Club will be running in December.

Friday 11th December 2020

Fillies & Mares Tweed Coast Classic Heat - Benchmark 58 HCP 1200m ($22,000)

C,G&E Tweed Coast Classic Heat - Benchmark 58 HCP 1200m ($22,000)

These two split sex benchmarks have been added to the program replacing the original split sex 1100m races.

The first six placegetters in the above heats will qualify for the $30,000 TWEED COAST CLASSIC FINAL (BM58) to be run at Murwillumbah 27 December 2020.

Sunday 27th December 2020

Tweed Coast Classic Final - Benchmark 58 HCP 1200m ($30,000)

This race is restricted to the 12 qualifiers from the Murwillumbah heats on 11 December 2020.

If horses qualified from heats do not contest the final then horses that placed 7th and 8th in heats will be next in ballot. The highest rated 7th placegetter will be next in ballot followed by the second highest rated 7th placegetter and so on with the 8th placegetters. If 7th and 8th from heats do not contest heats, then horses that did not contest heats will be next in ballot.
