Nick Heywood Leads Nathan Berry Medal

Nick Heywood has drawn first blood in the 2022 Nathan Berry Medal by taking out the Newhaven Park Country Championships Final during Day 1 of The Star Championships at Royal Randwick today.
Heywood received three points by scoring on $8.50 chance Another One who narrowly held off Commando Hunt (Nash Rawiller, $9) by half a neck.
Roughie, Amulet Street (Hugh Bowman, $51) was third a length away.
