Jasper Franklin is the new leader of the Rising Star Apprentice Series following his win in Heat 10 at Taree on Sunday (18th December).

Franklin took victory with Evocator ($6.50) who won with ease for trainer Jenny Graham.

Qin Yong (Are We Good, $14) finished in second spot with Jenny Duggan (Razzama, $2.70 favourite) rounding out the placings.

Scoring his first win this Series, Franklin now boasts 23 points to lead from Shayleigh Ingelse (19 points) and Georgina McDonnell (14pts).

Heat 11 will be run at Warwick Farm on 4th January 2023.
