Listen To The Band - Scratched From The Country Championships Final
Racing NSW Stewards are in receipt of a veterinary certificate confirming that Listen To The Band, the first placegetter in the WRA Country Championships Qualifier conducted at Coonamble on 12 March 2023, is not suitable to start in The Newhaven Park Country Championships Final after sustaining an injury to its off foreleg which requires arthroscopic surgery.
Accordingly, Listen To The Band has been scratched from The Country Championships Final.
Smooth Esprit, the third placegetter in the WRA Country Championships Qualifier, now replaces Listen To The Band in The Country Championships Final.
