Injured Trainer Update - John Booker (Mid North Coast)

Racehorse trainer John Booker has been injured after reportedly sustaining a kick to his head while working horses on his training property near Kempsey on the NSW Mid North Coast. John was transported to John Hunter Hospital where he is being treated in intensive care but is in a stable condition.

Update Monday 10th August: John has been moved out of ICU into a ward. He is expected to remain in hospital for 4 to 6 weeks while he recovers from his injuries.

Update Friday 31 July: John remains in ICU at John Hunter Hospital, following the incident at his property which occurred last Saturday 25th July. John sustained facial injuries to his jaw, cheekbone and eye socket, but remains stable.
