Injured Rider Update - Georgina McDonnell (Grafton, Mon)
Apprentice jockey Georgina McDonnell was dislodged on the way to the barriers on Portafortuna prior to Race 7 at Grafton on Monday (20th September).
Georgina appears to have suffered a concussion but is now talking and coherent. She will be transported to Grafton Hospital.
[Update at 10:30am on Tuesday]: Georgia was discharged from hospital last night. She sustained a soft tissue injury to her hip and some bruising around her face.
