Employment Opportunity - Administration Officer (Port Macquarie)

Port Macquarie Race Club is seeking the services of an Administration Officer to work closely with the CEO, operating and maintaining all aspects of the Club’s racing, training and function activities.

This is a full-time position (38 hours/week), plus occasional Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

Candidates applying for this position should possess the following qualities:-

Qualifications & experience

  • Experience in a similar role 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Customer service skills 
  • Ability to follow systems & meet required deadlines 
  • Ability to work autonomously 
  • A well-presented and friendly personality 
  • Experience with MYOB accounting software 

Tasks & responsibilities

  • General reception & telephone duties 
  • MYOB bookkeeping 
  • Banking & cash control 
  • Payroll 
  • Accounts payable & receivable 
  • Maintain website and social media accounts
