Emily Atkinson celebrated her first Rising Star Series victory after taking out Heat 14 at Grafton on Tuesday.

Atkinson greeted the judge with Stuck With You for trainer Matthew Dunn in the Rising Star Mile Handicap (1600m). Leah Kilner enjoyed 2nd place, with Qin Young, 3rd.

Despite missing a place on the podium at Grafton, Mikayla Weir has extended her Series lead to 35 points.

She now sits 13 points clear of Dylan Gibbons (22) and Tyler Schiller (20).

Only 2 heats remain left to run at Wagga (11 February) and Scone (16 February), before the Series Final at Canterbury Park (26 February).
