Apprentice Georgina McDonnell Wins Coffs Rising Star

Georgina McDonnell celebrated her first Rising Star Series win for the season after taking out Heat 6 at Coffs Harbour on Thursday (December 1).
McDonnell rode Lucifer's Reward to victory for trainer Graham Payne to score the top points.
Jasper Franklin (riding Clearly Regal) was the next NSW-based Apprentice to past the post to secure 5 points and now joins Shayleigh Ingelse as joint Series leaders.
Franklin and Ingelse boast 16 points apiece, with McDonnell (12 points) closing in on the lead.
Warwick Farm will host Heat 7 on December 7th.
