Going with 10. Bessie La Belle to start the day at Albury. She was impressive in all three runs during her debut campaign, finishing runner-up in her last two starts at her home track. The awkward draw is a concern, but she has overcome a wide gate before. The drop back in distance suits, and she looks primed to strike first up.
Dangers: 3. Sargent Stan has finished runner-up in both career starts at this track and was unlucky to go down in a photo last time out. Gets another chance here and is sure to be in the finish. 12. Christmas Star has been showing natural improvement and finding her rhythm in recent runs. Draws the inside gate and benefits from a 2kg claim, giving her every chance to be competitive. 5. Group Chat makes his debut after a trial win in preparation. One to keep an eye on.

11. O’Hell Yeah has been consistently in the mix with a win and three placings from six starts so far. She hit the line strongly at Wagga last time out, displaying an impressive turn of foot but narrowly missing the win. Handles these conditions well and looks suited by the step up in distance. Should go close again.
Dangers: 4. Sea Strike shapes as the main threat in this field. Previously trained by John O’Shea, he has been consistent across five starts, always in the mix. Right in this again. 1. Pennine Way makes his Australian debut after some strong performances on the New Zealand circuit. The awkward draw presents a challenge, but he has shown promise and will be looking to make an impact. 6. The Kilmorian broke through for a maiden win at this track last start in a hard-fought effort. Has been improving with each run and, with a favorable draw, can back it up here.

2. Rose Aye looks to be a strong contender in a race with some serious threats. She’s been consistent in all her starts, with her best form coming this campaign. A convincing winner first up, she was narrowly beaten in a photo finish last time out. Can handle the rise in distance and is primed to give another solid performance here.
Dangers: 10. Spicy Lu was a winner on debut at Cowra, claiming the race with a strong late surge. Enters off a quick one-week turnaround and draws the inside, giving her every chance to replicate that performance and be competitive here. 9. Bon Holler also won on debut at her home track and was well tested in preparation. However, she will need to overcome a wide draw to be in the mix. 7. Maybe Maureen looks to be showing improvement and next best in this field

3. Eclair Awesome put in an impressive runner-up performance on debut at Nowra before running home well in a tougher race at Newcastle last showing. Drops back to country level here and comes up with the inside draw to support her case here. Expected to put up another on-pace effort and make an impact.
Dangers: 4. Breezy Bon has shown promise but just fell short last time out, having been knocking on the door in all three starts so far. With a two-week turnaround, she gets another chance to be in the finish here. 2. Qismah ran third on debut at Sandown Hillside and steps into an easier race here. Should be right in the mix and can improve on that debut performance. 6. Madam Doesfly returns to her home track after a solid debut effort here before a spell. First-up and lightly tested in preparation, she has the potential to show up and be competitive.
How To Play It: Eclair Awesome WIN ($4.20 TAB Fixed Odds)

1. Quamby showed mixed form early in Victoria but has found sharp improvement since switching to the NSW country circuit. Produced a solid first-up effort at Cowra, where the winner was simply too strong. Better for that run and well-placed here with an inside draw and a suitable distance. Expect another competitive showing.
Dangers: 14. Southern Dancer has been inconsistent in recent form, appearing to have too much to do at Wagga last time out after being caught wide, but finishing off well. Was a winner here in her last campaign and can bounce back with a stronger performance. 7. Sydney Gal backs up quickly after a runner-up finish at Wangaratta and looks a strong contender, especially with key scratchings in this race. Well-drawn on the inside and race fit, she’s well-placed to give another bold showing. 9. Washington was a winner at Cowra last start and will look to build on that performance. Faces a tricky draw but benefits from a 2kg claim, giving him every chance to be competitive again.
How To Play It: Quamby WIN ($11.00 TAB Fixed Odds)

6. This Is The Moment has struggled to make an impact at city level but drops back to country grade, where he finds an easier assignment. This could be the right setup for him to produce a stronger showing.
Dangers. 15. Steve’s Way put in a solid on-pace effort first-up at Cowra but was run down late. Has shown promise through 11 starts and should be fitter for that run, stepping up to a more suitable distance. 14. Country Kilkenny hasn’t shown much since resuming this prep but does his best work at this track and distance. A return to familiar conditions could spark improvement. 9. Fox Appeal looks to be the next best in the field.
How To Play It: This Is The Moment WIN ($6.50 TAB Fixed Odds)

4. Asgarda has been in strong form recently and tuned up for return with a promising trial in preparation. Produced some impressive performances in the city toward the end of her last campaign and has a solid first-up record. The wide draw is a challenge, but if she can overcome it, she’ll be right in the finish.
Dangers: 9. Canny Hell took out the SDRA Country Championships last start and has an excellent record at this track, winning three of four attempts. Proven performer here and sure to make an impact again. 18. Burrandana has been in top form recently, finding a strong rhythm and making an impressive start to this campaign. Runner-up in the SDRA Championship and should be right in the finish again. 12. Acappella Sun has been racing well of late, and excuses can be made for her last start at Warwick Farm. Capable of bouncing back and featuring in the finish.
How To Play It: Asgarda WIN ($4.80 TAB Fixed Odds)
