Withdrawal Of Runners From Friday's Tamworth Race Meeting
At 11.01am this morning Racing NSW Stewards ordered the withdrawal of the following horses from their respective engagements for today’s Tamworth race meeting.
Race 1 – Apparently
Race 6 – Winged
Race 7 – Takanakuy, Haiku Star & Super Souix
This followed an unannounced stable inspection conducted earlier this morning by Racing NSW Investigators of the registered stable of licensed trainer Ms Melissa Dennett. During the conduct of the stable inspection, it was established that the aforementioned horses had, on Wednesday 12 February 2025, been administered an injectable veterinary product which contained cobalt salts.
