Vale Mr Bob Scherf
Racing NSW has been informed of the passing of former Tamworth Jockey Club Administrator, Mr Bob Scherf.
Mr Scherf was a very successful Secretary Manager of Tamworth Jockey Club for almost 14 years from the mid-80s, following which he acted as the Secretary of the Hunter & North West Racing Association until January 2021, significantly contributing to racing in the region.
A celebration of the life of Bob will be held at Tamworth Jockey Club on Saturday, 25 June 2022 at 11.30am.
