Two From Two For Masters At Leeton Picnic Races

Don't Hesistate and Ferlaxing took out the major prizes at Saturday's Leeton picnics while the riding honours went to Leandro Ribeiro and Catherine Masters.

Masters had just the two rides at Leeton and retained a perfect record winning on both Don't Hesistate ($2 favourite in the Guildford General Transport Handicap) and Ferlaxing ($2 fav-Coprice Trophy Handicap).

Both gallopers earned seven points towards the 2023 NSW Picnic Champion Series Final with Inzaghi and Our Blue Moon retaining the lead on 26 points.

Ribeiro also enjoyed a successful day at Leeton, kicking home a treble with victories aboard Hamish the Swift ($2 fav), Chez Symphony ($4) and Sonattack ($4).

Shaun Cooper was the only other winning rider after scoring on Kulina ($3.50) who won the Wade Hotel Class B Handicap.

The next meeting of the NSW Picnic Champion Series will be at Moree on Saturday 27th May.
