Leandro Ribeiro took out the 2024/25 Approved Rider title and landed a winning treble at Harden.

Already on 14 wins this season, Ribeiro started his run with a win aboard Line Of Law ($2.20 favourite) in the Open Trophy (1100m).

Leandro then won the following race, the Maiden Plate (1300m), on Sunconi ($1.80 fav) before taking out the final event (Picnic Handicap, 1400m) on Maryland Bridge ($4.20).

Apprentice Sarah McDonough also enjoyed a successful afternoon with a win in the opening race (Class B Handicap, 1100m) on Megastar ($2.30).

Sarah also picked up a dead-heat win when the judge couldn't separate her mount Tough James ($8) and Ashley Boyd's roughie Foxwell ($21) in the feature, the Harden Picnic Cup (1400m).

The next chance to earn points will be at BONG BONG PICNICS on Friday 21st November.
