Dubbo Turf Club will be hosting the third running of the Arrowfield Queen of the West on Saturday 12th April.
The $50,000 Arrowfield-sponsored fillies and mares feature is the main draw card of the seven-race program, that runs concurrently to the hugely popular Mercedes-Benz Ladies Day social event.
In just three years, the event has become a flagship raceday for Dubbo Turf Club and aims to showcasing high quality racing as well as local hospitality, creativity, entertainment and design.

Arrowfield has once again provided a nomination to three-time Group 1 and dual Derby winner Hitotsu, which will be presented to the winning connections of the Arrowfield Queen of the West.
“The race has attracted some terrific race filles and mares with varying form lines from across New South Wales and Queensland,” said DTC's General Manager Sam Fitzgerald.
“Dollar Magic was a dominant winner in the 2023 event before going on a remarkable run of form at metropolitan level.
“Deep Rouge in 2024 presented Brisbane black type form and was a multiple metropolitan winner in Queensland before targeting the Arrowfield Queen of the West."
Connections of Dollar Magic were awarded with a nomination to Castelvecchio in 2023, while Deep Rouge’s owners received a nomination to Hitotsu.
The Club will host a luxury and all-inclusive marquee once more, as well a host of raceday attractions.
“Our goal for this event, like everything we do, is to get a little better each year. We want to provide an unparalleled raceday experience, and this event has quickly gained a reputation as a high quality and must-do event in just three years.
“We have some terrific attractions lined up – Kylie Jane and her band will play throughout the day and at the after-party.
"And there is a Fashions on the Field with the cowboy chic theme and we also have some exhibits from local distillers and seafood merchants, as well as Mercedes-Benz fleet of high-class vehicles on display.
“At this stage, have already eclipsed 2024 ticket sales for the marquee and general admission and we are still a month out from raceday.”
